Departure from the hotel to join the south province of Cienfuegos. Performing dolphins and sea lions to start a day of dreams. Immediately, after we arrive, we take a shower to get into the pool and swim and have fun with these wonderful creatures, dolphins.

After bathing, we will take the highway that leads to Cienfuegos to eat at the restaurant « Palacio Valle », one of the most beautiful buildings in Cuba, where one can enjoy spectacular views of the bay of Cienfuegos.

After dinner, we will explore the latest city declared Cultural Heritage by UNESCO. Guided tour of central and surrounding areas. Free time for shopping.

We have not made this excursion from Cayo Santa Maria but during our  two weeks tour in Cuba in 2006, we visited the dolphinarium and have swum with dolphins. A unique experience!

Please note there is a  dolphinarium under construction near Cayo Ensenachos (the neighboring island of Cayo Santa Maria). The opening date is not yet released, but this new attraction will surely be very popular and ... profitable!

The Cuban tour operator Gaviota Tours also offer this excursion, but the program is different and less expensive, because swimming is not included in the price. Check rates on the excursion's index page.
