Excursion « Remedios and Santa Clara »

First stop at the charming little village of Remedios (founded in the XVI century). Walk on the central square and visit the « Iglesia Parroquial Mayor », one of the oldest churches in Cuba and one of the few in the world with a statue of Virgin Mary pregnant

You then visit a large cigar factory in the town of Camajuaní. You will observe the entire process of manufacturing by hand and the quality control of Cuban cigars.

Then go to the city of Santa Clara. You will go to a rum and cigars for shopping. Lunch included at a restaurant in Santa Clara. Visit Revolution Square « Ernesto Che Guevera », a huge monument, mausoleum and the museum of this national hero. Subsequently, you visit the city with its history, central park, beautiful buildings and monuments (colonial style). Free time.

Photo stop at the site of the last and most important battle of the revolution « El Tren Blindado ».

  • You cannot take photos or video inside the mausoleum. It contains the remains of Ernesto Guevarra and his battle companions during an attempted uprising of the Bolivian.
