Plaza La Estrella
Plaza La Estrella (aka Pueblo La Estrella) is located on Cayo Santa Maria, between the hotels Royalton Cayo Santa Maria and Memories Paraiso Beach Resort. It was inaugurated in December 2009, and is managed by Grupo de Turismo Gaviota S.A.
This is a large shopping & entertainment center (65,660 square feet) where tourists will find many other optional services in addition to those offered in their all-inclusive resort, and at very reasonable cost too! It's also the perfect place to go shopping for the famous Cuban cigars, rums and local handicraft.

Enjoy a Canchanchara at the Casa de la Miel (Honey House)
This is a traditional drink from the Trinidad region (province of Sancti Spiritus). It’s a mixture of crushed ice with aguardiente (a strong alcohol obtained by fermentation/distillation of molasses), lemon, fresh mint and the ingredient that makes this drink unique ... pure honey!
We loved this cocktail, especially when served by the nice and pretty Deysiris.
Don’t miss it!
How to get there:
Guests staying at the Royalton Cayo Santa Maria, Starfish Cayo Santa Maria and Memories Paraiso Beach Resort can go on foot. Guests from other hotels can go by taxi, or with the Hop-on/Hop-off Panoramic Bus (5 USD per person per day) which stops at every hotels, Plazas and the Delfinario (dolphinarium).
