Program:
Take a trip back in time in the 8th oldest town in Cuba, and also the cradle of the famous “Parrandas de Remedios”, one of the oldest traditional festival in the Caribbean.

Departure by bus (around 9am) to the colonial town of Remedios (also known as San Juan de los Remedios) for a city tour. Stroll through the “Parque Central” (main square) and visit the town’s cigar factory to see how the world famous Habanos are hand-made. Visit the beautiful “Iglesia Parroquial Mayor” (main parish church), the 2nd oldest in the country, with its altars laminated in gold.

Free time to take photos and do some shopping.

Suggestions on what to wear and bring:
Comfortable shoes and wear, sunglasses, hat, sunscreen, bottled water, camera, cash in small denominations for souvenirs, drinks and tips.

Note:
The town of Remedios is located about 50 km from the Cayos of Villa Clara.
