Program:

This tour takes you to the nearby coastal town of Caibarien where you can get in touch with Cuba’s culture and immerse yourself in the local way of life. Also known as “La Villa Blanca” (white village), Caibarien is the main port for the province of Villa Clara.

See the most important landmarks, monuments and historical sites of this quiet town; including the monument of the Giant Crab (which became the emblem of the city), and its main square surrounded by nice colonial buildings.

Enjoy a concert by the Caibarien Municipal Band which will be playing traditional Cuban music. At the Cultural Center “La Ruina”, listen (and dance!) to a live performance with musicians who will take you on a musical journey through captivating rhythms such as rumba, Guaguanco, and Guaracha. Enjoy a typical cuban lunch in a countryside restaurant at Finca (farm) La Cabaña.

Suggestions on what to wear and bring:
Comfortable shoes and wear, sunglasses, hat, sunscreen, bottled water, camera, cash in small denominations for souvenirs, drinks and tips.

The town of Caibarien is located about 45 Km from the Cayos of Villa Clara.
